Tinahely Show - 5th August 2024

Niall Jones continued his winning streak following on from Ossory Show at the 89th Tinahely show on a damp bank holiday Monday, 5^thAugust 2024, when he claimed Champion and Reserve Champion with his two animals from his Macmine herd. The Champion was Machine Goliath, this August born bull calf had earlier claimed 1st prize in the July bull class with Aidan Jones in second place with Clonroe Messi. Reserve Champion came from the July 2023 born heifer class again from Niall’s Macmine herd in the form of Macmine Linda. This August born heifer claimed first prize with Aidan Jones in second place with Clonroe Martha. Other prize winners on the day was Airhill Rufus taking the cow with calf at foot for Pat Jones and in the senior bull class, Pat Jones had first and second with Drumallas Larry and Drumallas Lucky. Well done to all exhibitors for showing their cattle - it was great to see such a turn out on a showery day and thanks to Daithi Caroll for Judging.
