2022 Hereford Photo & Calendar Competition – Winners!

The Irish Hereford Breed Society & Irish Hereford Prime organised the annual Hereford calendar competition once again this year and it turned out to be a great success all round.

The competition is now closed and the winners have been finalised and officially announced on the IHBS Facebook page. The public have voted and we are delighted to announce & extend Congratulations to all the 1st & 2nd prize winners of the individual categories & the Overall Winner of the 2022 Hereford Photo & Calendar Competition!

Overall Winner & Category 2 Winner – The HEX Factor: “Don’t tell me I look a little Moo-dy today” by Cillian Murphy, Mayo

Category 1

1st Place: Herefords The Natural Choice – “Can a girl just eat in peace” by Michael Power, Tipperary

2nd Place: Herefords The Natural Choice – “Keeping it Traditional” by Sean Brett, Tipperary

Category 2

1st Place: The HEX Factor –“Don’t tell me I look a little Moo-dy today” by Cillian Murphy, Mayo

2nd Place: The HEX Factor – “Seeing Double” by Sharon Rothwell, Wicklow

Category 3

1st Place: Prime Beef – “Summer Treats” by Theola Heatrick, Monaghan

2nd Place: Prime Beef – “Prime Beef” by Annmarie Dunne, Kilkenny

1st Place: Hereford an Environmentally Sustainable Breed – “Two of a kind” by Sean Brett, Tipperary

2nd Place: Hereford an Environmentally Sustainable Breed – “Happy Valentines” by Eoin Lynch, Cork

Congratulations to all the finalists & massive thanks & appreciation to all who entered photos and supported the competition.

All shortlisted entries that were presented for the public vote will now be compiled into a calendar which will go on sale in aid of Hooves4Hospice next month. Each participant will receive a complimentary copy of the calendar in the post when they are ready and they will be available to the public to purchase from irishherefordprime.com.
