The Flavour of Fingal show was held on Saturday 2nd of July. Now in it’s 10th year, the numbers were low in all breeds but great credit is due to the Show committee as they gave a fuel contribution to all exhibitors which was greatly appreciated this year more than ever. Judging the Hereford cattle classes was Mr. Pat Sheehy.
There were new breeders from the local area showing animals this year also which was nice to see.
The Hereford Champion was awarded to; Clonroe king, bred by John Jones, Pallas, Gorey, Co. Wexford.
Hereford Reserve Champion was awarded to Eamon & John McKiernan, Newtown, Monasterboice, Co. Louth.
