Spring bull sale season is fast approaching with just three weeks to go until the Irish Hereford Premier Spring Sale in GVM Tullamore on 27th March.

There have been 34 bulls entered & catalogued for this sale and most of the entrants have opted to submit a video of their bull(s) – to be broadcast online (IHBS website & Social Media) in the run up to the sale. These videos will be available online shortly & will hopefully aid breeders in showcasing their bulls in a time when all mart sales are held online only, leaving it very difficult for potential buyers to have a good look at stock before they decide to purchase.

It is great news that Irish Hereford Prime will once again sponsor the Spring sales;

Irish Hereford Prime will sponsor €250 towards each bull sold for €3000 or over at the Premier Spring Sale!

Irish Hereford Prime have also decided to kindly sponsor €200 towards the top five highest priced bulls in Nenagh, Bandon, Kilmallock & Nenagh May sale!

This sponsorship is and has been a huge benefit to breeders selling their bulls & purchasers. It is invaluable to have the support of Irish Hereford Prime at this time and even more so since regular selling conditions have been prohibited for now.

• Carrick-on-Shannon: Saturday April 3rd 
• Nenagh: Saturday April 10th 
• Bandon: Thursday April 15th
• Kilmallock: Friday April 16th
• Nenagh: Saturday May 15th 

Entries for Nenagh & Kilmallock close one month in advance of the sale & catalogues will be available 2-3 weeks prior to each sale – online at irishhereford.com and/or by contacting the society office for a hardcopy.

Sale rules & guidelines in terms of viewing bulls pre-sale will be available shortly & published online at irishhereford.com.
