The Society are delighted to announce that our very own long standing Secretary; Larry Feeney, has been elected as the incoming Secretary General for the World Hereford Council. Larry will lead the Council for the next 4 years right upto the next World Hereford Conference which will be held in Kansas, USA in July 2024.

Larry has over 30 years experience as Secretary of the Irish Society & a wealth of knowledge & experience in both Irish and World Agriculture and in particular the Pedigree Breeding of Herefords. Larry has been more than dedicated and supportive to the Irish Society & the breed in general in his time & we know he will bring the same values to this new post & do a tremendous job.

We all wish Larry the very best of luck in this new role & look forward to travelling on this journey with him and the World Council.
