In just 6 weeks time, three Top Irish Hereford herds are coming together for the sale of their top Pedigree Female Herefords. Over 30 Quality Pedigree Female Herefords will be offered for sale in Tullamore Mart on the evening of August 31st 2019 from the Balleen, Corlismore & Trillick Hereford herds.

The breeders have guaranteed “When choosing stock, we look for shape, style, colour and the pedigree has a big impact. We place great emphasis on cow families and bloodlines. We also look at the animal that is standing in front of us. We use stars as a tool or a guide, but it’s the animal first”.

A super show of elite quality heifers will be presented for sale on the day. A total of 9 embryos will also be offered for sale from Balleen Herefords. These will be sold in 3 lots of 3 and they are from Balleen Pansy and Balleen Emma.

This is an opportunity not to be missed for both pioneers of the breed and new comers to Pedigree breeding, with fantastic investments to be made. This sale is a considerable development and will open doors for each of the herds involved and for all breeders alike.
