Mullingar Agricultural Show – Sunday 14th July 2019.

Nature graced us with another scorcher of a day yesterday for Mullingar Agricultural show where both the temperatures and crowds were in the high numbers. There was a show of excellent Hereford cattle which were exhibited in the quaint walled garden.

Many thanks to all exhibitors who came out on the day and thanks also to the judge and council member, Martin O’Brien and Shane Murphy, who both travelled from Co. Tipperary.

A huge congratulations to Tom and Anselm Fitzgerald and family who took home the Overall Champion cow with calf at foot ‘Grianan Orange R786’. This supreme cow also won Reserve Champion in the Longford show last Sunday, 7th July. Many Congratulations to Michael Molloy, who is no stranger to the winners enclosure at Mullingar show, on winning Reserve Champion with ‘Moyclare Rob’.
