KILSUNNY HEREFORDS WIN INTER-BREED BEEF CHAMPIONSHIP AT BANDON

Trevor Dudley, Kilsunny Hse, Dovea, Thurles, Co. Tipperary claimed the first major championship of the Irish summer show circuit at last weekend’s Bandon Agricultural Show in West Cork with his four year old pedigree Hereford cow, ‘Kilsunny Lass Lily’ winning the Hereford championship before going on to emerge victorious in the prestigious inter-breed beef championship of the show. This competition was fiercely contested by all of the other champions in the various beef breeds (including all the continental breeds) and it was the latest major victory in a string of show ring success for ‘Kilsunny Lass Lily’ that also includes two 1st prize wins at the National Hereford Show, Tullamore.
