Mount Briscoe Rare & Traditional Breeds Show celebrated its second year promoting the diversity of our native, rare and traditional breeds of farm livestock on Sunday 22^nd July. A fine display of Herefords were on show for the six classes scheduled for the event. Judge Joe Deverell from the well established Ballyaville Herd selected Christine Drumm’s “Allowdale pretty Maid 557” as his Champion within the Hereford ring which later went on the win Interbreed Champion which was selected by Interbreed judge Trevor Chadwick. Mervyn Parr’s “Tourtanepoll 1 Sunshine” took home the reserve champion rosette after winning the heifer 2017 class.
