Lidl Inisvale Selection Irish Hereford Fillet Steaks scooped a major UK Gold accolade at The Grocer’s annual awards held in London’s Hilton Park Lane.  

A shortlist of 350 products from a record 1,400 products made it through to the second round of judging with Lidl’s Inisvale Selection Irish Hereford Beef Fillet Steak winning the top Gold Award. Hereford Beef is of excellent meat eating quality, known for its tenderness and flavour.  Slaney Foods International based in Co Wexford, work in partnership with the Irish Hereford Breed Society and its sister company Linden Foods Dungannon to provide Certified Quality Irish Hereford Beef for the Lidl Hereford range.  “We are proud to be the suppliers of the sustainably produced, award winning Lidl Inisvale Selection Irish Hereford Fillet Steaks” commented Rory Fanning, Slaney Foods – Managing Director.
