Judge: Mr. Denis Collins

The 188^th annual Iverk show took place on the 23^rd August. Four top quality two year old heifers entered the show ring for the class which was kindly sponsored by Hereford Prime. The class was won by John Jones with ‘Clonroe Jacky’. The Hereford championship went to John Murphy with his polled cow ‘Starlet’. The reserve championship went to Henry and Mervyn Parr with ‘Tourtane Jamsey Boy’. The young handler competition sponsored by the South Leinster Branch IHBS Ltd was won by Patrick Kinsella, with Padraig and Conor Jones in second and third place respectively.
